I know that it is only August, but I am ready to start designing for Christmas classes. So I started out with some gift card holders using our new Gift Card Thinlits from the Holiday Catalog.
Of course, these would be great for birthdays or for any occasion!
You may order out the Holiday Catalog starting Thursday, August 28th.
For the first one I used the Santa Stache set along with the Ovals Collections and Mustache Framelits.
For the back I am using the Merry Everything tags instead of the circle latches included in the dies.
There just doesn't seem to be room on the front of the gift card to a "to-from" so I'm putting it on the back.
For the second Gift Card, I used the Festival of Trees and the Tree Punch.
This time I did use the circles that come with the thinlits to create the closure pieces.
This is easy to open and close.

Notes: When I cut the santa out by hand, I cut straight up each side of the face and didn't try to save the "handle bar" part of the mustache. Then I cut and added two mustaches with the framelit for stability.
