The manufacturing plant is really amazing!
It was so much fun to see how they make a "batch" of pads.
First they throw 100 blank pads into a vat.
The glue is applied to each pad and the pad is pressed onto the plastic.
Within the last six months, Stampin' Up! has added a machine that sorts the cardstocks.
The card stock comes into the plant in very large sheets.
They cut 400 sheets at a time.
Could you imagine making a mistake?! Apparently they occassionly do.
Here is the left over rubber cuttings that are baked and sold for use on playgrounds, homes, and maybe other places, too.
There was much more that we saw, but this is all that I will take the time to share.
Thank you for stopping by.
