Special Day remembering Dave

I drove out to Glendale last Wednesday to have my traditonal lunch Shelly.

We enjoy telling stories about Dave and just remembering some great times that we shared. 

Dave stepped into the presence of the Lord December 5, 2009.

Brad normally joins us, but he couldn't take off work this year. 

First we had lunch at  the Glendale Californnia Pizza Kitchen with Jeremy and Jaelyn.

There was a fire across the street.We sat next to the window.  The kids were fascinated by all of the fire trucks.

The restaurant gives the kids crayons and pictures to color.  Shelly said that jeremy can sit and color for hours.  Jaelyn did her share of coloring, too.

Shelly bought flowers and we headed out to Forest Lawn to visit Dave's  gravesite.

  What a beautiul day! 

Jeremy and Jaelyn ran up and down the hills. 

Then they sat down to color some rocks to add to Dave's gravestone.
