The phrase of the night was from Jeremy. He must have said a dozen times if he said it once, "Isn't this a great night!" Or he also said, "Isn't this so much fun!
I told Shelly that I didn't have an outfit to wear so she found one for me!
So Fred Flintstone (AKA Gabe), Pocahontas (AKA Shelly), a police officer (AKA Sandy), Ninja Warrior (AKA Joshua), Rapunzel (AKA Jaelyn), and Spider Man(AKA Jeremy) all took off for the Franklin Street area of Glendale.
Oh my word! These neighbors go all out with elaborate decorations. There were so many people out trick or treating. Just as we were finishing up around 8:00 all of the older kids were coming out. I have never seen so many people out celebrating.
At the end, we were carrying the kids' pumpkins because they were so heavy with candy, the kids couldn't even carry them anymore!
It was certainly fun being out with family!
