No time to stamp over the weekend or today, so I'll just share something funny that happened to me on Friday.
Once a month my Bible Study has a potluck here in my home so I clean off two of my three craft tables completely! For those of you who come here regularly, you realize that this takes a very concerted effort.
Here is my challenge. An old pair of Fiskars scissors has gottened opened up and stuck so that I could not open the drawer. All of my scissors, adhesives etc. are in this drawer!
In order to get to the contents of this drawer, everything on top has to be removed!
Here is what is on top! The stuck drawer is the last one on the right under the cards!
The Board on top is 6' long.
So as I started pulling everyone off, I am thinking what is wrong with this picture!
I am trying to CLEAN OFF MY TABLES!
I looked at my watch and realized how backwards I was going in my progress to get ready for the potluck!
Finally, I got the board cleaned off and could pull the board forward and get out the stuck pair of scissors. While I had this mess out, I decided that I should dust the shelves and throw out a bunch of old stuff!
So I finally got everything reassembled, got my grocery shopping done, and was home starting to cook.
At 4:00 p.m. my land line died! (I was on it!!)
I really had NO time to spare now and was still getting ready for the potluck! There were LOTS of greenbeans to cut up and lots of little things to do!
I had to used up half an hour on my cell phone getting a phone repair appointment for Monday.
My dad and Olive were joining us for dinner.
Just as I got off the phone, Dad and Olive walked out into the kitchen and Olive asked me if there was anything that they could do to help! They cut up all the beans! There were a LOT!
That was God's grace, right there!
We finished everything up as the first people walked in.
Thank you for stopping by!
