Holiday Frame Embossing Folder: How to get the wrinkles out!

If you have used the  #127820 Holiday Frame Embossing Folder out of the Holiday Catalog pg 7, you may have discovered that the card stock tends to wrinkle in the middle on each  edge as you run it through the Big shot.

Here is the solution for getting the wrinkles out.

This year's new embossing folders are a little bit longer.  With this particular folder, there is no need to have it extra long.  The #106959 Tabletop Paper Cutter is extremely sharp.  Open up the folder and cut a little bit off of one end at a time until it will fit through the Big shot sideways.

In the picture below, I have the folder closed just so that you can see it.  You can really only cut one end at a time...just a little bit so that it will fit through the Big shot sideways.

Now, lightly mist the card stock with water and run the folder through sideways instead of lengthwise.  You will not get any wrinkles!

If you do not have the Tabletop Cutter and live close to me, feel free to bring your folder over and I will cut it for you!

I have been struggling with this embossing folder since I got it. I just tried your idea except I spritzed it the my alcohol/frost white shimmer mist and holy cow does it come out beautiful! Thanks for the tip.
