Next year I'm going to have someone taking pictures of everyone who comes!
Thank you to Cindy, Colleen, Mary, and Shelley for helping!
Thank you to each one who came to have fun and spend time with us last Saturday:)
I had a steady flow of 35 people coming and spending time making the projects, chatting, and shopping!
Roxie was the first door prize winner!
I had a table with three of these little gift card pots and many retired sets for them to choose from.
Margaret, her daughter Lizzie, Shelley, and Kaycy.
Colleen, also teaching the hands on project, Loretta, and Cindy, who was helping people with several projects.
Marie...another Gift Card Flower Pot winner.
So why did I not keep taking pictures? Well, I was really busy. This is why next year, I will have someone in charge of taking pictures....lots of them!!!
Grand Prize Winners: each one gets a free Stamp-a-Stack Class
Gwen Ziol and Millie Vickroy
Congratulations, ladies!
So here is one of the tips that I gave everyone yesterday.
The Apothecary Framelit Set does not have a way to make a layer for its cut outs.....
or does it:):):)
The "For You" in the picture below is from the #127072 Layered Labels set pg 103. Would you like to know how I got the layer?
Take a look at the #127003 Apothecary Framelit cut out on the front of this little box that I designed.
Just turn the Framelit bladeside up. Trace around it (The pic below is obviously from a different project. I just am showing you how to do it.) And cut it out.
If it looks a little funky because it was cut out by hand , run it through an embossing folder.
Note: So far, the tiimes that I have used this technique with colored card stocks, I have not had to emboss them in one of the embossing folders.
Thank you for stopping by!

Beautiful pots and giveaways! looks like everyone was having fun ;)
Hope to make it next time around..
