I decided that it was time for a wedding card.  I used several prodcuts from the Occasions Mini to make it.

The base of this card is 5" square. I plan to use DSP and the Diagonal Scoring Plate to make an envelope for it.

Supplies:

• Set:  #125845 Loving Thoughts pg 15 Occasions Mini  (Last day to be able to buy this set!)
• Card Stock:  Whisper White and Blushing Bride  pg 176-180;
• Ink:  Blushing Bride  pg 176 (Retiring at the end of May)
  
• Big Shot Accessories: #125598 Labels Framelits pg 6 Occasions Mini;  #115963 (Finial Press Embossing Folder (retiring);
  
• Punch:  #117191 Bird Builder Punch pg 213;
• Accessories:  #109070 Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon;
• #119247 Basic Pearls pg 198;

Notes: 

• The Blushing Bride layer is 4 3/4" sq.
• Stamp the saying first on the 4 1/2" sq white c/s and the run the piece through the Finial Press Embossig Folder leaving the c/s where the saying is stamped plain.
• I cut two of the hearts and layered them to create some depth.
• I punch the two bird wings out of white c/s that had been run through the finial Press
• The birds are mounted with dimensionals.

Floral Fusion Highlights the Perky Lucky Limeade In-Color!

I cased/changed slightly this amazing idea from Lee Conrey.

Supplies:

• #115068 Sincere Salutations (Retiring) pg 160;
• Card stocks:  Whisper White, Lucky Limeade;
• Designer Series Paper  ##125409 Summer Smooches (special flyer:  avaiable until April 30th and then again on June 1)  $10.95;
• Big Shot:  #125598 Lable's Collection Occasions Mini (Available through April 30th);
• Accessories:  #119247 Basic Pearls pg 198;  #122977 Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon pg 194;

Notes: 

• The Lucky Limeade layer is 3 7/8"x 5 1/8".
• the white layer on top of that is 3 3/4"x 5".
• The DSP strips are 1"x 3 3/4".
• You can cut the white and Lucky Limeade layers at the same time in the Label Framelit. Then just off set them a little bit and mount them wth a dimensional or two.
• I used Sticky Strip across the top and bottom of the card because the ribbon being pulled to the back of the white c/s creates some bulk.

Big Top Birthday Pop Up Card

This card was inspired by a card that Lisa Young posted on Pinterest recently.  You can find the instructions on her blog here.

Note:  The white inside card stock whould be 8 1/4"x 5 1/2", not the 5 1/4" that Lisa has in her instructions.

I layered three "4's" to give some dimension and interest to the front.  (Not that Jeremey is going to notice:)  But it does my own heart good:)!)

And here is the surprise inside!!!

Whohooo Stampers and the Blossom Bouquet Punch with envelope

Last Saturday, Michelle Halleen flew out from New York to have a get together with some of her local Stampin' Up! group.

One of Michelle's friends made these adorable little puppies out of our very own Stampin' Up! fabric.  What a talented lady!

We saw so many great ideas that day and I will be posting some of them as I have time to load them in and process them.

Today I want to share one that I already had a picture for.

This idea came through Angie McKay on Pinterest. I changed just a very little  bit.

The first version has a Calypso Coral flower on the right.  Cherry Cobbler is on the left.  I didn't get the stamp as clean as I thought.  So when I stamped it in the Daffodil Delight pad, the second flower is a little multicolored for that reason. I love it, actually.

In this picture, I changed the flower on the right to Peach Parfait and I like the way that it blends in with the rest of the colors.

Well, I had the time set on my camera and now that is showing up on my pictures?

There is always something to figure out, isn't there!

This card is a 12"x 6" folded into a 6" square.  The Old Olive is 5 3/4" sq. And the Polka Dotted third layer is 5 5/8" sq.

I used the 3 1/2" circle bigz die to make the pot and the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch to decorate the pot.  Another picture below will show you this.

Before you adhere the "pot" to the card front, add the Dotted Scallop pieces, turn the circle over and trim off the excess from the back.  Then adhere the pot.

 

I added all of the flowers with dimensionals except for the solid Cherry Cobbler one on the left.  But that will be up to our taste!

I am going to give this card to my daughter for Mother's Day.

I made the envelope with the Diagonal Scoring Plate and a 10" sq of  the Summer Smooches DSP. Score at 4 5/8" on all four sides.

Joshua sings and dances in Schoohouse Rock!

My 5 1/2 year old grandson, Joshua, sang and danced in his first Broadway musical last Saturday.  The performance was at the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse in San Gabriel. 

We had a big group there to support him.  After the musical we all started asking him for autographs!

Our tickets were on the second row.  Are those grandparent tickets, or what?:):):)!!

Here is how I decorated it.  I can use any color scheme that you might want if you have a preference.

Here is an upclase view of the point of interest.  The colors are vibrant:

The Designer Paper is from the Summer Smooches that is only available for the month of April.  Then it will be available again June 1 in the new Stampin' Up! catalog.

I used a 9 1/2"x 8 1/2" piece of card stock and score at 2 1/8" anad 6 1/4".  (The 9 1/2" is the width going horizontally.)

• The Pink Label Framelit is raised up on dimensionals
