It is now 5 45 a.m. and I am off to the kitchen to make his favorite: a homemade apple pie!

My dad loves to play Blackjack so I made a pop up card using that theme. This is a retired set.

So after dad plays his usual scrabble games at the Senior Center this morning, we'll go out for lunch and then we'll see a movie that is opeing today called "The Mighty Macs"
7:15 a.m. ...Hmmmmmmmmmmmm....can you smell it? Our home smells sooooooooooooooo good!
I had to get a picture of my dad's pie as soon as I took it out of the oven, because knowing him, he might even have a piece for breakfast!!!

I hope your Dad had a great birthday! The pie looks awesome! Hadn't had apple pie in years! Might have to get me a pie today at the grocery store. How was the movie? Hugs to you both!
