This is the box that we are making today at my quarterly Stampin' Up! meeting here in Duarte CA. We'll be using Real Red card stock and adding the white scallop squares only. Demonstrators and guests can decorate them at home. Thank you to Becky Roberts for this great idea. I resized the box part to be a little smaller than she has it and then totally changed the colors and the theme! Now you can do the same thing! How about a Real Red and White box for Valentines!
The Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the Bashful Blue snowflake is so outstanding in person.
I'll try to give you a little bit more of a close up.
The best way to get the glitter to stick is to use the 3-M 77 Multipurpose Adhesive spray.
I held the snowflake with a clothespin and took it outside to spray. Then I held the snowflake over the larger of the Powder Pals tray to add the glitter. Lastly, I took the snowflake outside again to spray the back with the glue. Lay it down over the white snowflake and pat it into place.
I put all of the front layers together, including the brad, before I added it to the box front.
Here is how you score it. To get the measurements, download the instructions below.
Please e-mail me if I can help you in anyway.
Thank you for stopping by!
