There have been a few customers who have been interested in purchasing the #115963($29.95) Stampin' Up! Punch Windows:(set of 4 )because they want to layer them with the coordinating punches that we carry. My friend Mary and I figured out how to use them independently of the Big Shot.
Here is what you do:
1. Layer two standard cutting pads 113475 Page 194 $8.95
2. Add one shim of card board that is cut out of one of our Designer Series Paper Packages.
3. Next layer the Big Shot shape that you want to punch out.
4. Add the card stock of your choice over it (2 1/2" square works great!).
5. Add one more standard cutting pad. (You'll need three altogether.)
6. Run it through the Big Shot for a perfect punch!
Here is what the sandwich looks like before you run it through the Big Shot.
And here is what it looks like punched out:
Each of the shapes in the Movable Pieces has a coordinating punch.
When you layer them, they look like this:
The white card stock is the punch. The colored card stock is the Movable Piece (#115953)

Woo-hoo I tried this right away and it works wonderfully. I have all nine of the dies and the curvy label, ornament and circle also nest beautifully with the punches. THANK YOU! for this great idea.
