Someone gently reminded me that they didn't remember how to make the fold that goes with the most recent post so here is a quick tutorial to help you.
You need 8 pieces of Designer Series Papers that have been punched out with the Large Tag Punch. You will fold each one the same way. You can alternate which side you start on to give your finished look a bit of variety.
- In the first tag, fold the "A" in the lower right corner up to meet the "A" on the left side so that your tag looks like the second tag.
- Fold the "B" on the upper left down to the "B" on the lower right so that it looks like the third tag.
- That's it! Make 8 of those and you are ready to assemble the piece.
Here's a another quick tutorial to show you how to easily assemble the 8 tags so that you can adhere your piece in exactly the place that you would like!
- Punch out any color 1 3/8" circle.
- Put it into your Fiskars Cutter and score it in half in both directions.
- Put Snail Adhesive all over the circle
- Add two folded tags per square
Once you have put all 8 tags on your piece, it is very easy to position. I added a 1/2" circle to the center of the folds for interest. Ii also decided to try adding a rub on from the Chateau Bella Rub On's (#111416, page 178 in the Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog). I used chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette, and Riding Hood Red card stocks and the Holiday Treasures Designer Paper Series (#112469 page 170.).
This card is easy to make and people always seem to be very impressed! It looks like it is a lot more difficult to make than it really is.
As always, please contact me if I can help you in anyway.
